My testimony of being ALTARed is long and fraught with bad decisions and failure. However, in 2011 it reached a pinnacle and I found myself praying that God would kill me. I had only failure in my life and in my eyes had no hope of ever being a person of value. On February 4, 2011 I had a massive heart attack. I wasn't sure if I was even a Christian anymore, because I had no evidence of it in my life. On the way to ICU, the Lord spoke very clearly to my heart and said "Well, do you want to stay or do you want to go?" I knew the answer to that question was a defining moment. I finally said, "I would like to stay, if that's okay with you, but I have some conditions." I went on to present my requests. I wanted be remembered for doing something good, to LIVE everyday not just be alive, and to touch as many lives as possible. The Lord showed up in that hospital and I heard in my spirit "SO BE IT!" Six months later I started my own company with no money, no experience and nothing but the Holy Spirit to guide me. It became successful and is funding this venture to not only touch people in the present, but to touch the lives of the generations to come. The ALTARed Life is the message that brings true life and I will spend my remaining days bringing it to the world. By the way, on July 29, 2022, I received a heart transplant after over a decade with congestive heart failure. God knows how to ALTAR us. Blessings!
